Writing Experience

Backspace Across Lines — RTL Fixer now follows your cursor backwards across line breaks when you delete. No more getting stuck at the
beginning of a line — the experience finally feels as natural as writing left to right.

Smarter Continuous Writing — Significant under-the-hood improvements to RTL detection and character buffer handling. Fewer interruptions,
smoother flow, especially for long paragraphs.

Word-Aware Line Breaks — Auto line break now wraps at complete words only. Hebrew words with nikud, Arabic words with tashkeel — they stay
whole, always. Never cut in the middle of a word again.

Auto Line Break Default Raised to 50 — A more natural default that fits real-world use: more text per line, less unnecessary wrapping out
of the box.

Auto Line Break Takes Effect Instantly — Change your character limit and it applies immediately to the next paste. No more restarting RTL
Fixer just to try a different line length.

TextToPic — Convert RTL Text to Image

Brand New: TextToPic Feature — Paste Hebrew or Arabic text and RTL Fixer renders it as a pixel-perfect image, then puts that image back on
your clipboard. Works in any application that can’t handle RTL text — Slack, Photoshop, presentation tools, and more.

Full Font Control — Choose from system Hebrew/Arabic fonts, set the exact point size, pick your DPI (screen or print quality), and choose
transparent or white background.

Right-Aligned by Default — TextToPic defaults to right alignment because that’s where RTL text belongs. Change it anytime, but it starts
right.

Free-Type Font Size — Type your exact font size directly. No more clicking arrow buttons 30 times to get from 24pt to 60pt.

Installation & Setup

One-Click PKG Installer (macOS) — A proper macOS installer package that walks you through everything. After clicking Install, it
automatically opens both Accessibility and Input Monitoring settings, then launches the app. First-time setup goes from confusing to
effortless.

Guided Permission Setup — RTL Fixer now shows a clear in-app checklist the first time it launches: which permissions are granted (✅),
which still need attention (❌ / ℹ️ ), and a direct “Open Settings” button for each — no hunting through System Settings menus.

Dark Mode Support — The welcome screen and installer materials look great in both light and dark mode.

Stability & Reliability

Fixed: Infinite Deletion Loop — A critical bug where RTL Fixer could autonomously delete large amounts of typed text is now gone. The
re-entrancy guard has been hardened to distinguish your keystrokes from its own.

Fixed: Delete Key Stuck After Quit — Closing RTL Fixer now always restores the keyboard to its original state. The hardware key remap is
cleaned up on exit — even in a crash — so your Delete key is never left stranded system-wide.

Fixed: Registration via PKG Install — RTL Fixer can now save your license key even when installed via the .pkg installer, which previously
set file permissions that prevented saving.

Settings

Redesigned Settings Window — All options reorganized into clean tabs: Behavior, Languages, TextToPic. Easier to find what you’re looking
for.

macOS + Windows Parity — The backspace-to-previous-line fix and TextToPic feature are fully available on both platforms.

    1. Fixed an issue when trying to exit the app from dock, The app freezes and is required to force exit.

New Features:

  1. We’re happy to announce RTL Fixer now supports Farsi. This is a long awaited update and it’s here now.
  2. We give you more control over the app with the option to add or remove characters to fix in continuous writing and in copy/paste. To add or remove characters, please go to Options → More options.
  3. “Home” and “End” keys are now aligned with right to left writing when the app is running.
  4. Now you can insert a new line break (Enter) in the middle of a sentence!
    Just place the cursor where you want to insert the new line break and press the key sequence: CTRL+ SHIFT + left arrow.
  5. Now you can connect two consecutive rows!
    Just place the cursor at the end of the row you want to connect with the next row and press the key sequence CTRL+ SHIFT + right arrow
  6. Windows version now supports continuous writing after English capital letters pressed with the “SHIFT” key.
  7. Mac version installation is now drag and drop dmg.

  1. Tray icon is now available! showing the status and allows quick access to settings by clicking the icon.
  2. We give you more control over the app features with the new options menu.
  3. Allow continuous writing after numbers and after left-to-right language using change language key combination in Windows or Mac or by changing using the mouse.
  4. Supports copying and pasting of long texts with the option to control the number of characters in each line.
  5. Support “Tashkeel” for Arabic language, to enable please go to Options > More Options.
  6. You can now enable or disable “always on top” or hide the main window.
